ICON is open to all and holds approximately 160,000 records, with more being added regularly. We hold IOM3 and its predecessor publications, serials from other publishers and books on many aspects of materials science. We have an extensive international minerals and mining collection, and a large number of texts associated with Tata Steel.

IOM3 members have exclusive access to selected digitised content from our library. This includes journals, books and conference proceedings on iron and steel, minerals and mining, ceramics, polymers, and wood. Documents covered are all published by the Institute or predecessor organisations or publishing partners and there is some open access content. Member login is required for access.
