Ceramics UK wants your signature
As high energy costs drive ceramics manufacturers to the brink, a petition could trigger debate.
Citing the example of pottery firm Denby, which appointed administrators on 31 March after struggles with rising energy and labour costs. Ceramics UK is calling for signatures to support the sector.
A Parliamentary petition is calling on the UK government to address these critical challenges by extending the 'British Industry Supercharger' scheme to include ceramic manufacturers. The petition has already secured enough signatures to receive a response. Reaching 100,000 signatures would trigger consideration for a debate in Parliament.
