PVC 2027 promises to deliver a comprehensive and varied technical programme of high-quality speakers and original international papers. 

 

Call for papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit 300 word abstracts by 30 April 2026.

The abstract must provide sufficient information for a fair assessment including the objective of the paper, the methodology used and the conclusions or results of the work. The abstract must be written in English. 

Authors will be notified of acceptance or otherwise by end of September 2026.

Final submission papers of up to 10 pages or annotated Powerpoint presentations from accepted authors will be required by 31 January 2027. These will be converted into PDFs and published in the Proceedings, which will be made available to conference delegates. 

In order to maintain the quality of the programme, all abstracts will be peer reviewed and it is a condition of acceptance for the programme that presentations must not have been presented or submitted for presentation at other events prior to PVC 2027.   Papers advertising organisations and/or products will not be accepted and should not be submitted - please consider one of our promotional opportunities instead.  At least one author will be expected to register in full to attend and present the paper at the conference.
