The Centre for Advanced Manufacturing (CfAM) at the University of Greater Manchester is a leading hub for research, innovation, and training in advanced and additive manufacturing technologies. We bridge the gap between academic excellence and industrial application, equipping engineers, designers, and technical professionals with the skills to thrive in modern manufacturing environments.

Our training portfolio focuses on additive manufacturing (AM) and the integration of advanced techniques, providing learners with both foundational knowledge and practical insights. Whether you are exploring polymer or metallic AM, designing for additive methods, or learning how to bridge conventional and digital processes, our courses are designed to support professional development across sectors.
