IOM3 launches the Sustainable Future Awards 2026
The Sustainable Future Awards are now open for entry. Deadline to submit nominations is 15 May 23:59 BST.
The IOM3 Sustainable Future Awards are back for their fourth year, celebrating individuals, organisations and projects driving the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient society.
Entries are now open across six categories: Circular Economy (Academic and Industry), Inclusive Practices & Social Responsibility, Sustainable Materials Innovation for Net-zero (Academic and Industry) and Sustainable Resource & Environmental Management.
The awards uniquely recognise those developing and transitioning methods of practice to achieve sustainability, EDI and championing greater circularity in the extraction, processing and use of natural resources. Adjudicated by an independent panel of experts, the awards provide a platform for knowledge exchange and offer companies and organisations the opportunity to showcase proven on-the-ground developments.
Open to individuals, teams and organisations from across the globe operating within the materials cycle, entries close on 15 May 2026 at 23:59 BST. Shortlisted finalists will be announced on 30 September, with the awards ceremony taking place in London in November.
The awards culminate in a presentation ceremony where winners are recognised for their contributions to creating a more sustainable future. Previous winners have demonstrated excellence in advancing circular economy principles, developing innovative materials for net-zero technologies and championing inclusive practices across their sectors.
