Dr. Fleischanderl is based in Linz, Austria, and Member of the Executive Management at Primetals Technologies.
Since April 2024 he has taken over as CTO of the Primetals Technologies Group. In this role he oversees the whole solution portfolio incl. intellectual property (IP), Information technology (IT), digitalization and innovation management (R&D).
Alexander is a recognized expert in the field of sustainable iron and steel production and heading the Green Steel organization at Primetals Technologies.
He holds more than 100 single patents on his name. Alexander was honored as Siemens Inventor of the year in 2013 and received the Best Innovation Award from MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) in 2019. Alexander holds a PhD in Process Engineering.
