Around 3,700 doctoral candidates globally were asked 'what is the best thing your supervisor has done for you during your studies?'

This comes as the provincial Government of Ontario announces the building of a Mine Rescue Training Institute.

The UK Government says the training will be for the advanced manufacturing, clean energy, defence, digital and technology sectors.

Better access to training is needed industry-wide, say survey respondents.
