Jamin Daniel Vincent

Jamin is a Higher Scientist in the Advanced Engineering Materials group at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). He holds an MSc (Eng.) in Aerospace Materials from the University of Sheffield. Jamin has broad and practical expertise in composite materials characterisation, with experience spanning mechanical testing, thermal analysis, cure evaluation, and permeability measurement. His current research focuses on liquid composite moulding, as well as the recycling and circularity of composite materials, contributing to sustainable innovation in advanced manufacturing.

Jonathan Goh

Vice Chair & Social Media Manager

Jonathan is currently a Senior Scientist and Delivery Manager for the Electrochemistry Group at the National Physical Laboratory, UK. He leads fuel cell testing activities here, supporting the deployment of hydrogen technologies towards the UK's net zero targets. He holds a PhD in Chemistry, working on novel hydrogen storage materials, which followed an MEng in Chemical Engineering and MRes in Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and their Applications (both from the University of Birmingham). Prior to joining NPL, he worked in the semiconductor industry and automotive sector, gaining valuable insight on advanced manufacturing techniques. Jonathan's long-term ambition is to leave a positive impact on the energy industry by championing the use of clean hydrogen.

Ana is a Higher Scientist in the Electronic and Magnetic Materials Group at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), working in the area of Electrical and Electronics Reliability. She received a first-class degree in Chemical Science, specialising in Physical Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country, Spain followed by a Master's Degree in Project Leaders in the Automotive Industry from Lea-Artibai Ikastetxea, Markina-Xemein, Spain. Since joining NPL in 2015, her interest has been focused on the electronics reliability, providing measurement solutions and consultancy to industry as well as to UK government funded projects in the areas of electronic reliability in harsh environments, including condensation testing, high temperature, thermal cycling and temperature-humidity bias testing.
