MIMinE Annual Safety Seminar
Midland Institute of Mining Engineers is a charitable incorporated organisation and each year it holds a Safety Seminar currently entitled “Challenges and Solutions for Mining Safely”.
Next year it will be held on Friday 17 April 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sheffield and it will be the 19th seminar held.
Over the past two years it has attracted over 220 delegates and brings together Operators and producers: mine managers, engineers and technicians, Supply Chain: OEM’s, products and service providers, Government & Educational establishments including students from Leeds University and Camborne School of Mines) along with the Speakers who will inform, educate, and entertain.
We also encourage companies to take a trade stand, which proves extremely popular.
We are also holding a pre-event social/networking event on Thursday 16 April 2026 which you are more than welcome to attend, particularly those of you that will be staying over the evening prior to the seminar. The cost for this is included in the seminar ticket price and will consist of drinks and canapes/nibbles. This will be held from 6pm.
