 Impression Technologies is a world leader in light-weighting solutions for automotive, aerospace, and consumer product sectors. They offer a full service from part feasibility, through to design, prototyping and production with a combination of applications engineering, metallurgy, hot forming process and simulation know-how. Their Global Technology Centre and headquarters in Coventry features a full-scale Hot Form Quench aluminium press line and materials characterisation laboratory providing prototyping, series production, technology demonstration and technical support for  OEMs and their supply chain. This visit will be a great opportunity for CWMS members to see the plant in operation together with a presentation by the Head of Metallurgy and Materials Characterisation explaining some of the metallurgical aspects and benefits of the process -  but numbers are limited to 15 so be sure to register soon and if your plans do change, please let CWMS know by email (iom3cwms@gmail.com) that you will not be attending so we can make your place available to others.  18:00: Tour will begin promptly at 18:00. We will split into groups, each led by an ITL staff member.  ITL will provide hi-vis vests, no other PPE required\n
