SUMMARY:Materials Science from Self-cleaning Glass to Radiative Cooling Coatings
DESCRIPTION:This talk will give an overview of research in my group over the last 30 years. It will look at photocatalysis and the commercialisation of self-cleaning window glass. It will also look at developing new materials for various functional applications from healthcare to batteries to carbon dioxide capture and storage and miniaturised gas sensors. I will demonstrate how things can start from the lab and eventually lead to commercialisation in&nbsp;the materials science field.<br />\n
