DESCRIPTION:The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining 2026 Young Persons Lecture Competition Scottish Heat 2-4pm Wednesday 25th February 2025 Lecture Theatre A, Bute Building, St. Andrews University, Queens Terrace, St. Andrews, Fife KY16 9TS Pre event lunch &amp;vnetworking 1 - 2pm Room A11 Results, refreshments and networking 4-5pm Room A11 Prizes 1st &pound;250, 2nd &pound;200, 3rd &pound;150, and runners up (max. 3) &pound;100 each Travel expenses for those outwith St. Andrews will be paid. First placed will represent Scotland in the UK Final at the Armourers Hall London on the 21st May 2026, expenses paid along with at least &pound;150 in prize money.
