 GFRP has been used in mining and tunnelling for decades and more recently in permanent concrete structures, due to the durability concerns associated with conventional steel reinforcement. In this technical seminar, Pierre will discuss the characteristics of GFRP soil-nails used for slope stabilization, the advantages & disadvantages compared to conventional techniques and the applications on existing projects in Hong Kong.\n
