SUMMARY:Low Carbon Active Buildings
DESCRIPTION:This session explores how low carbon active buildings generate, store and intelligently manage energy, and how smart design, renewable technologies and real-time performance monitoring are reshaping the built environment. We&rsquo;ll examine a number of case studies, looking at novel design considerations, retrofit challenges, emerging technology barriers, and the practical realities of delivering high-performance buildings. Ideal for professionals already working in the sector, those looking to upskill, or anyone interested in the future of sustainable buildings. Dr Nathan Cooze CEng CSci MIMMM FHEA has taught in Higher Education for over 13 years. He is currently an Industrial Lecturer at Swansea University delivering work-based learning, helping to contribute to the UK&rsquo;s Net Zero aspirations by addressing green skills gaps in the private and public sectors particularly around manufacturing-related industries.<br />\n
