DESCRIPTION:Stephen Fitzpatrick is Director of the Digital Factory at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, University of Strathclyde and strategic lead on Remanufacturing.  He will talk about value retention in manufacturing by extending the life of metallic products through repair and remanufacturing.  The lecture will introduce the concept of value retention and explore how advanced repair and remanufacturing approaches can maximise the lifetime value of metallic products.
